These are good climbing sticks, although the suction cup system is trash as everyone else has said. The straps are ok and will work, but the locking ones are much better. 3 of them will get you about 15 feet in the air. I would suggest going ahead and buying 4 if you like to be up a little higher

THIS IS MY SECOND SET. I HAVE LONE WOLF ALSO BUT LIKE THESE BETTER.

An excellent product for the Hunters.

Would be 5 stars but after reading 6 pages of red warning labels, I failed to read the warning about the suction cup holding so tight that when it finally lets go, it hits you in the eyeball. Trimming the tab edge inside the suction cup helps relieve some of the pressure, but be sure to not sit back on your razor knife because the small cut to your butt will bleed on the bedsheets and your wife’ll get er dandruff up! Anyway, I would definitely purchase the product again once I pay off the ER room bill for the stitches and tetanus shot.

Just used for the 1st time last week to hang a stand. They are made well and connect together fairly easy.
What I did not like were the hanging straps, you couldn’t tighten strap enough because it uses stitched loops in the strap to adjust it. The problem is this gives to much slack and the bottom of the step kicks off the tree. I always harness Period so its wasn’t an issue except the gripped steps wrenched in my hands as I was coming down. I also use a set of Lone Wolf sticks and they use a cam buckle strap that can be tighten to prevent the bottom step kicking out. I will probably replace with the Lone Wolf straps.

I weigh just under 200 pounds, but for me these climbing sticks work great. They are very versatile and well made. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. It’s hard to think of some constructive criticism, but maybe another strapping design of some sort with a little thicker straps with a positive locking adjustable buckle. Just a thought . The current design works fine like it is. These are an excellent product because they are well made and versatile.

Very good for the mobile hunter they are a little heavy compared to some of the more higher end climbing sticks but for the price you can’t beat it. Also can be awkward to pack in I found it best to just carry them in my hand so that they don’t get hung up like when they are strapped to my pack. Very easy to install

I really like this climbing stick I’m using it as my one sticking option. With this stick and a 3 step aider I’m getting about 6′ per move. It’s pretty easy to hit the steps in the dark not too far spread apart so even with bulky clothes it works. So far it seems to be pretty strong no complaints there I’m 280 pounds pounds and it works fine for me. The aider was able to clip radiant to the holes in the footsteps it works great. So far it is bit into every tree pretty well that I’ve put it on. The strap is easy to use and doesn’t have any slip or stretch that I can tell. For one sticking occasionally it holds on a little bit too strong which is not a bad thing really. So far the only sign of wear and tear it has is the paint is chipping in some places not the best paint. Overall it does what it needs to do I feel safe and stable. It works great.

Nice steps but…… They changed the ratchet strap design to a strap with many loops. This will mean it can’t be snugged against the tree.
